The feeling strikes so fast, while I wait for minutes to pass, so tomorrow can bring the sun when I feel free at last. Letting go of the hopes I’ve grasped, holding in the questions I’ve asked, tearing off the cover to the sadness I’ve masked. A ship at sea with a crumbling mast, tossing and turning in a freezing, misting blast, heading into the storm - no turning back. From light to black, from tense to slack, from defense to attack. Removing the restrictions from my back to drift - forever staying off track.
The days where I only wanted a cuddle buddy have turned into days where I only want a trouble buddy.

Once Upon A Time
Once upon a time, there was a prince who wanted to find a princess so badly. He heard the stories firsthand from all the broken girls. He wanted to be different than the villains in this world - he wanted to be a royal hero.
Late at night, he always thought about how it would make him happy to see his princess happy. He wondered what her smile would look like and how she would feel in his arms. There had to be a way to stand out.
He always tried to help the ones who were grieving with broken hearts, telling them they’re beautiful and worth more than they thought. They always said he was the sweetest guy ever, yet he always found himself alone. It broke him down.
The future always made this prince hopeful because he was so determined to find what he was looking for. But the roller coaster of emotions tore off the prince’s crown. One day, he seemed like the best idea in the world to them, but by the next day, he didn’t seem to exist and wasn’t even acknowledged. This repeated every day, seemingly.
It was too much, too often. A charming young man left hopeless.
He changed his ways and tried to be cocky and confident. He wanted to say exactly what they wanted to hear. Maybe if he acted like the villains, the women would pay more attention to him. The problem is, that’s not who he really was. The lonely nights kept coming and he wished that he could feel like he felt once upon a time.
There was always someone on his mind that would make him smile once in a while. But the day is here where no one is on his mind. He doesn’t talk to anyone anymore. He knows they’re all the same and that the villains always win. It’s hard for him to accept it. But he has to.
He realizes that everyone has corrupted each other into playing games and trying to keep the upper hand. He wants someone genuine, but it’s impossible to pick out real from fake now. They’re all actors and actresses.
